George A. Bernet is a financial advisor with Centinel Financial Group, LLC. George spent several years working in the computer industry and then in real estate development after he completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 1980. Shortly after joining Centinel in 1992, George earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and has built his practice focusing on wealth management, retirement income planning and asset preservation.

George believes in providing his clients with holistic financial planning strategies that are tailored to their unique needs. By conducting a comprehensive analysis, he assists individuals, families and businesses in better understanding their current situation and the steps they need to take in order to reach their retirement goals and estate planning objectives.

As a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC®) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), George provides his clients with support that includes investment analysis, asset allocation and portfolio management, with a focus on retirement planning. Additionally, he has earned the Certified in Long Term Care *(CLTC) designation. For over ten years he has been a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), considered one of the premier associations for financial services professionals.

George was born and raised in New Jersey and now resides in Needham, Massachusetts with his wife, Marcia. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). George enjoys travel, golf, scuba diving and motorcycles.
